Temporal Vault: Archival Clamshell Box for The Third Rule of Time Travel

$75.00

Time is fragile. Memory, even more so.Temporal Vault is a custom-made clamshell box (aka traycase or solander box) designed to preserve and honor The Broken Binding special edition of Philip Fracassi’s The Third Rule of Time Travel. Crafted with conservation-grade materials, this enclosure is built not only to protect—but to endure.

Drawing on decades of experience in bookbinding and archival preservation, the box features a drop-spine structure wrapped in pale grey and deep red linen—colors chosen to reflect the stark contrast between the clinical precision of time travel and the violent, emotional fallout that ripples through the narrative. The recessed spine label draws from the typography and layout of the volume’s title page and features a butterfly motif influenced by the dust jacket’s design—a visual nod to the delicate, irreversible consequences at the heart of the story.

Inside, the case’s trays are lined with smooth, archival black card stock, providing a crisp contrast and a secure, acid-free environment for the volume. Internal design elements—including a precision-fitted spine insert—help create a protective microenvironment that shields the book from light, dust, and shifting humidity. Made to museum standards, this enclosure ensures that while time may shift, your collection remains preserved—intact, untouched, and ready for the next reader.

Dimensions: 10.19 in (25.9 cm) H × 7.06 in (17.9 cm) W × 1.81 in (4.6 cm) D
