Forged in blood and chain, House of Chains charts the brutal rise of a man-made myth. Karsa’s Archive is an archival clamshell box worthy of a Toblakai's saga—hand-built for the Subterranean Press edition and fortified to last through ages.
Medium brown linen wraps the box in earth-toned solemnity. Within, the tray walls and spine insert are cloaked in mustard yellow Japanese book cloth, evoking both ochre deserts and the tarnished gold of fading empires. Buffered archival cardstock in a matched tone lines the trays, keeping the volume suspended in secure, acid-free stillness.
A recessed spine label, edged and armed in mustard yellow to echo the tray cloth within, offers a subtle harmony of tone and intent. Printed on premium vellum photo paper and sealed with an archival acrylic coating, it delivers both enduring durability and a refined, tactile finish.
